  • CZ 070: Adam Avin, 14-Year-Old Founder of Wuf Shanti

Adam started his company, Wuf Shanti, when he was 9 years old after his grandfather Jack had passed away and they wanted to do something to honor his kind and compassionate spirit and carry on the mantras that he lived out.  Since then, Adam (with the help of his mom) has written 7 books and has expanded Wuf Shanti to elementary schools and children's hospitals throughout the country!  He even recently had the Mindful Kids Peace Summit for teenagekids where they tackled topics like Diversity, Kindness and Anti-Bullying, Tools for Kids to De-Stress and Cope with Emotions, and even Social Emotional Learning!  We talk about all of the wonderful things he is doing and about what it is like being a teenager that is born with so much technology around them.  Adam had amazingly thoughtful responses to everything and I had a great time getting to know him!

  • CZ 069: Kevin Ellerton, Founder of Meditation Magazine

Kevin Ellerton had achieved success at an early age in the real estate business, but this wasn't fulfilling him the way he thought it would.  In the most unlikely of circumstances while he was trying to pick up girls in a bookstore, Eckhart Tolle's "The Power of Now" impacted Kevin in a profound way.  This led to him going overseas and attending a monastery and his life would forever be changed from there.  He has since went on to found Meditation Magazine and traveled the world talking to Guru's about the meaning of life.  Listen as I chat with Kevin about these life experiences and how they influenced the creation of Meditation Magazine.
