Cate starts with a teaching on oneness. We are very gently brought to a knowing of oneness, a letting go of what we see with the eyes and hear with the ears. We put our focus on allowing ourselves to be corrected so we have a change in perception.
She continues with a review of the first 6 paragraphs of Chapter 27 (The Healing of the Dream), Section I (The Picture of the Crucifixion). “Behold me, brother, at your hand I die.” summarizes these paragraphs. We hold a picture of our crucified body in front of our brother. We want our brother to see what he has done. The pain and suffering he is causing with “my sick body” or “my sick mind”. Jesus wants us to look at this with him to have this idea of being “unfairly treated” healed. He brings the lesson in perfectly the way that we’ll understand. He meets us where we’re at. In the beliefs that we are holding about ourselves, and shows us another way.
Cate and Shannon read through the end of this section, paragraphs 7 through 11. We let go and allow the body be used by the Mind. We can transcend all pain and all suffering through this. We experience the dream very differently.
We let the body have healing as its purpose. The healed mind knows what to do and what to say. We are given whatever needs to be done and said when we stay open to the inner Guide leading us.
We show our brother that we are enveloped in God’s Love, free of the past and completely in present peace. This is done through quietness. The message to him now is, “Behold me, brother, at your hand I live.” The simple way to achieve this is to let go of all the purposes given to the body in the past.
Cate and Shannon then read through lesson 159, “I give the miracles I have received.” This lesson is read in preparation of the blessing shared by all who joined. When we give a blessing, we strengthen it in ourselves. Jesus tells us in this lesson, "To give is how to recognize you have received. It is the proof that what you have is yours.” As we give, we realize what we have. As we allow healing through us, we realize that we are healed. This is not how things work in the world, but they are the laws of Heaven. “Christ’s vision is the bridge between the worlds.”
What is not recorded is the blessing at the end of the Satsang. This blessing is from Lesson 108, “To give and receive are one in truth” and brings about a beautiful joining in peace, quietness and gentleness for giver and receiver, who are one. This is the blessing that was given from brother to brother:
To give and to receive are one in truth.
I will receive what I am giving now.
I offer quietness to you, “name”.
I offer peace of mind to you, “name”.
I offer gentleness to you, “name”.
To participate in a blessing such as this, to experience receiving while giving, is such a powerful way to recognize the truth of what we are.
Blessings and gratitude to everyone who joined!
