It is assembled much like a restaurant or fast-food restaurant chicken in just a few easy steps and minimal ingredients. You will learn how to make great fried chicken without milk, buttermilk, or eggs to bread it.

I spent 2 days testing the MEATER and I have to say it is worth every penny. It was purchased for me as a gift but from the time the MEATER was shipped to it was received was a real treat. The ability to monitor multiple cooks at once is amazing. The MEATER Block allows you to cook up to 4 types of meat and monitor them at the same time.  I tested the thermometer system with a beef eye of round, a whole chicken, and two different boneless pork chops. I cooked the beef and chicken at the same time and separately I cooked the two pork chops at the same time.  The eye of the round I set the temperature to medium. That being said it cooked to the high range of medium but that was no fault of the MEATER Block, but a fault of mine. The MEATER  is designed to cook using indirect heat such as away from coals or in the oven. Direct heat can damage MEATER. Where I placed the chicken on the grill created flare-ups and caused fluctuations in the cooking temperature. The ambient temperature rose dramatically fast, I got it under control and then everything was fine. But that temperature spike caused the meat to cook on the high end of the medium range due to rapid resting temperature after the spikes. Either way, it turned out extremely juicy and was one of the best roasts I've ever made.  The roasted chicken came out better than expected. It was moist, tender, and delicious, and perfect. I cooked the pork chops, Medium, and Medium well and they also were perfect. The MEATER Block is the real deal when it comes to cooking tools.

Hanger steak can be hard to find in some areas. I personally have a few local stores where I can purchase it. Traditionally it has only been available to butchers and as a unique offering on restaurant menus. Only here in the last few years has hanger steak been more readily available for consumers. If you can't find hanger steak at your local grocery store, try seeking it out from a local butcher shop if you have one near or try ordering it from a specialty supplier. It is worth ordering and I think you will be pleasantly surprised by what you get when you grill it up.

Hanger steak though tender, yes is something you want to cook either medium, medium rare or rare, and either by grilling or under the broiler.
