July 29, 2018 - We need to bring intensity to our faith life, to people we meet and in our caring for others. Notice the remarkable world God created and rejoice in the everyday things we might be too busy to see otherwise..

July 22, 2018 - We are called to care for each other. But when have we done enough for others? There is so much need in the world today, but even when we are weary, we must do what we can and God will provide the rest, like Jesus feeding the 5000.

15th Sunday in Ordinary Time - We have Enough! We are blessed with an abundance of material weath, but do the least of our society have enough? We should follow the instructions Jesus gave to his disciples: 1. Travel light; 2. Stay focussed; 3. Don't assume you will always be loved. Discussing what is enough is the first step to living in Christ.

June 10, 2018 - Like Adam and Eve in the garden, we sometimes try to hide from God, in one of three ways. 1. We can be physically ashamed of ourselves; 2. We can be emotionally afraid to show ourselves to God; 3. we refuse to be vulnerable before God. We hope that all will turn out, but don't want to be naked in our shame.

June 3, 2018 - We are all members of the Body of Christ, but to be full disciples we need to make an investment in 1. Listening to God's will; 2. Preparing for eternal life; 3. Transformation- cleansing our mind to be able to wisely serve God. In this way we make a covenant with Christ in serving the Body of Christians.

May 27, 2018 - Fr. Emmanuel reminds us there are two ways to make disciples- we must connect with each other and connect with God. Teresa notes that God is in everything. He is beyond explanation but not beyond understanding.

May 20, 2018 - We live in fear of not being enough, in many ways. But God loves us so much he wants us to be free to be ourselves, the person he created. We are often guided by our peers, but we should be comfortable that the Holy Spirit is in us, and that is all we need to be enough.

May 13, 2018 - Ascension is an unsung celebration of the last great event in the life of Christ and our faith. Yet it is very important because as Christ rose to be with the Father, we will rise with him when we embrace his love. Christ is with us always, even as he watches over us.

April 8, 2018 - Physical touch is important to humans, and was crucial for Thomas to believe when he placed his hands on the resurected Jesus' wounds. We too need to touch Christ, especially when we are wounded and broken.

April 1, 2018 - Wonderment in life is based on belief. It is seeing with loving eyes. Look beyond the safe answer you gave before and dare to wonder. Christ invites us to come to his table and show him to others. He is Risen!
