Is boldly saying "Merry Christmas" an effective way to spread the love of Christ? Kevin explains why "X-mas" is more Christian than you might think.

The conversation then turns to Mike's recent sermon on peace, in which he pointed out that Jesus doesn't necessarily bring the peace we might have expected, but instead he brings the kind of peace we need, even if we don't understand how or why.

Extraordinary Pt. 4 - When the Disabled are Enabled by CBC Las Cruces

We're back! Sort of.

After taking a week off for Thanksgiving, we jump back into the podcast but in a different fashion. Unfortunately, Jamie wasn't able to join Kevin and Mike today, but we are joined by Cera and Christine to talk more about the conversation they had last week as part of our Extraordinary series!

We have a great conversation about inclusion and belonging in the church in general, but also how that specifically looks for people with disabilities, and how that also affects their family as a whole. Christine shares more about her experiences in church and ways her family manages day-to-day life as well. Our discussion then turns to why we think a sermon series on this topic is necessary to share with the whole church.
