We spend a lot of time talking about why it's not enough to just be friendly to our brothers and sisters with disabilities and what it looks like to aim to go beyond being friendly.

We are excited about the responses that we've already heard from people about the first message in this series and realize that this is a topic that isn't normally touched on in churches. Jamie, Kevin, and Mike jump into the final message in the SHAPE series, Experience. We spend some time talking about the sermon series as a whole and pick some of our favorite parts of the past few weeks.

We actually don't spend a whole lot of time talking about Harry Potter (although, we may have to do a special episode when Jamie finishes the books!) but we somehow tie it in to what we're talking about.

SHAPE Pt. 6: Finding Your Shape: Experience Required by CBC Las Cruces

In this week's episode of the Calvary Afterparty Podcast Jamie, Kevin, and Mike have some fun talking about why our personalities are just plain better than everyone else's. Well, maybe that's just Mike (Because fives will rule the world!)

On a serious note, we discuss why we think it's important that people, especially in the church, spend time figuring out and examining their own personalities. How knowing what makes you tick can better prepare you to fit the role that God has made you for in the body of Christ.

We also talk a little bit about sports and talk about one of the most important personality tests out there, which house you belong to at Hogwarts!

Pardon the interruption, but Jamie, Kevin, and Mike are here to talk about a wide range of topics for the next hour or so!

In today's episode, we talk about everything from Beth Moore to Kanye West. We even delve into sports for a few minutes.

We also spend time talking about the latest sermon in the S.H.A.P.E. series, Attitude. The message was titled, "Do what you can with what you have" and touched on how we must strive to have an attitude of preparedness. We must be connected to be prepared to handle the situations that God presents to us, whether planned or, more likely if the opportunity arises as an interruption.

We also bring back a segment that has been missing lately: What we are doing, reading, and listening to! We should probably think of a more catchy title for the segment, but we hope you enjoy it all the same.
