Hello and Welcome to another episode of Cool Black Dudes Radio. I have my music brother from another mother Symbol on this episode but rather than talk about what we are doing, we are going to talk about what some cool people (all races) have been doing in the music game in 2018.Symbol and I usually end up doing impromptu text message album reviews whenever something dope or notable comes out and we’ve been saying “Yo we gotta record these” So here it is.Just for reference, Symbol is an extremely talented singer songwriter, and producer that has put out some bangers throughout the years. Please go check out his latest album Empathy on Spotify when you can. We’ve worked on a bunch of shit together throughout the last 16 years and counting and love that we are still working on creating dope shit. Please subscribe on either Spotify, apple podcasts, or stitcher and tell some people about this podcast if you are feeling it. The more people that know about Cool Black Dudes and what we do the better we can make this world! We have a Facebook page and a Facebook Collective Group so please join that or hit us up on the socials.Let’s get into it!----Coolblackdudes.comSymbolizm on the netDlakeCreates.com---Albums on SpotifyDaren's Top 3 from 2018Jon Hopkins - SingularityJ Cole - KODSymbol - EmpathySymbol's Top 3 from 2018Porter Ray - Eye of the BeholderPusher T - DaytonaTeyana Taylor - K.T.S.E. This is short and quick one as it was technically the first CBD episode that I recorded but through the magic of production and arranging episodes, it's now at number 11.My guest is Stephane Magloire. A super creative and very well traveled CBD. He's visited over 32 countries and now lives in Vienna, Austria - Europe. He’s previously worked with Kanye West on his live Yeezus show and has recently started a non-profit organization called the Gay Community including social events such as the Big Gay Picnic in Austria - Gaypicnic.orgLately he's felt it was time to start addressing loneliness and depression issues in the gay community as he feels they stem from LGBTQ focused social media, apps and drug abuse. It's also is a huge coincidence that it's LGBQT Pride Month in America so it all makes sense! Please Subscribe, Rate, Comment and Share this podcast with other like minded folks. - More from Stephane | Instagram @Spaceghost1985 FB @SpaceGhost285 - Original Music + Episode Production by Daren Lake/Pod Paste | DarenLake.net For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy

It's a concept album based around a love story during the civil rights movement. They sat down with him in his home outside of Washington, DC and got into some pretty deep stuff. They spoke about their story in the music industry, Symbol's personal music story, melody/harmonies, health care, mindfulness, fear, becoming the peanut butter to someone's jelly, empathy, compassion, and more!
