Back in Ep:31 MONTKUSH co-founders, TV Pitchman Anthony "Sully" Sullivan and Dave Christian invited the CBD Source Podcast to come to Vegas for the launch of MONTKUSH and be two of the first to taste their "Fresh Squeezed" solventless CBD. Dave showed Col a "Sizzlereel" teaser trailer of their new reality show by Thom Beers, with the working title "KINGS OF KUSH." Col, Ryan, Dave, and MONTKUSH's Hash Master Chad met up in Podcast Row to take a TINK of their inaugural batch. Col was introduced to former pro-soccer player, and former winner of Season 3 of reality show SURVIVOR (CBS). Ethan and Col talked about Ethan's time after the show, what he did with the MILLION BUCKS, as well as Ethan's passion for CBD and Cannabis, as he has battled Cancer twice since his show originally aired in 2001. Ethan is back for SURVIVOR Season 40 "WINNERS AT WAR" which premiers Feb. 12, 2020.

In this week's episode IGNITE CBD sent their brand ambassador Taylor to one of our CBD Source Center locations in Middletown, NY  for a live demo and sampling of the various flavors of IgniteCBD. We tried their tinctures, vapes, roll-ons and lotions. Podcast host Col Cheney and The Cannabidiet Chef, Ryan Webber tasted them all. Later we invited the public to taste and sample with us, and talk about their personal experiences with CBD and Cannabis. A random 38-year-old CBD Source customer named Melissa tried a tincture for the first time live on the show, and our clerk Skyler covered his entire face in a CBD Menthol Sports cream…with unexpected results.

First we talk with Omar Salem, founder of Salem Scientific, a Terpene distillation lab in California. He teaches us a lot more about Terpenes, including how to take raw terps orally. Next, the spectacle we've all been waiting for, Col and Ryan hop on a Dispensary Party bus that is dedicated to saving and preserving your terps. The besequined babes of Boveda teach us about the optimal humidity your flower should be stored at, and what happens if you don't think about the humidity of the container you store your hemp or herb in. It is a wild ride, and we meet rapper Big Bank Litoo in a dispensary, and somehow may have accidentally gotten the party canceled prematurely. You'll have to listen to find out how!

Today Col speaks with Sarah Schwefel, Marajuana Refugee, Medical Cannabis Activist, and Terpene Enthusiast who was recently a panelist lecturer at CBD.io. Sarah was born with a connective tissue disorder, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). She was living at a daily 7 or 8 out of ten on a pain threshold scale, until one day when she discovered Cannabis, CBD and Terpenes. She tells some of her story, and we go over her favorite 9 Terps, and what other plants they are found in, and what natural medicinal properties they may have. Last week we headed to VEGAS Baby, for MjBizCon 2019, and not five minutes into the show's opening we spotted one of our legendary stoner heroes, Tommy Chong, filming a commercial. Here is the story about how we got to meet him, and the audio from the interview we did with the Weed Van Man himself. Couldn't think of a better way to kick off a three day cannabinoid and networking extravaganza. He was one of many celebrities we met that day…but those stories are for next week, this week, we go deep into it. Cancer Survivor ~ Cannabis Activist, and founder of the Global Cannabinoid Research Center, Mike Robinson joins us again, fresh off his lecture at CBD:io in Vegas about how CBD can interact with medications you might be taking. We're not just talking pharmaceuticals, he also gets into also how CBD interacts with nicotine, alcohol, etc… Later he gets into what families of drugs should never be crossed with CBD, because CBD will either cancel out their efficacy, or on the other side of the coin, make the drug WAY TOO effective. We talk with Stephanie Lynch, of No Bad Looks. She's an Aesthetician in the conservative State of Texas, who made news as she shifted her focus to include CBD Infused Spray Tanning in people's homes - this is back when people were getting arrested in Texas airports for having CBD on them. We learn about CBD and skin care, and what got Stephanie into incorporating CBD into her business, No Bad Looks, which she founded in April, 2019. She worked the Ignite Booth, anticipating the arrival of Dan Bilzerian - and trying out Ignite's new edible CBD products. Also in attendance were Mike Tyson and Dennis Rodman and their respective entourages. Later we unbox a giant box of cbdMD products and try them all out, including the DOG tincture! Our CBD Guru Akash returns from a month in India to tell us about the Maha Shivaratri, a Hindu holiday where cannabis is legal (for one day) so people can make a milky canna-drink called "Bhang," because the god Shiva partakes. Col and Dr. Sharma, scientist and Co-CEO of Kazmira, talked about the lack of women entering the Cannabis and CBD space on the STEM side. We learned about the <0.3 % THC…the beauty of speaking with a scientist in the CBD / THC world, we were actually able to ask for some scientific clarifications. Like, when a 1oz tincture bottle of CBD has 0.3% THC…the legally allowed THC percentage in industrial hemp derived CBD. We really wanted to know how much THC is actually in that bottle?! Like what does 0.3% THC compute to? How many Milligrams of THC per Tink (Per one Milliliter tincture dropper) and per one full 30 Milliliter (1 Fluid Ounce) bottle. What she said may surprise you! We talk about dumb CBD products that are coming to market that may make the industry look foolish. We got a Weed Man Van story from Comedian Jackie Eco. We took a trip to the CBD Source Vape Lounge to ask Anthony what the status is on the NY and Federal vape flavor bans, and we made an announcement about something big coming up in December…Vegas Baby!
