U.S. Customs and Border Protection says it cannot quickly process refunds tied to Trump-era tariffs that the Supreme Court ruled illegal. In a new court filing, the agency says more than 330,000 importers paid about $166 billion across more than 53 million shipments, and refunding that money manually would take about 4.4 million labor hours.
