A new CBS News analysis shows that fewer than 14% of immigrants arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement had violent criminal records, despite repeated claims from the Trump administration that deportation efforts focus on the “worst of the worst.” The report also found that many arrests involved civil immigration violations rather than serious crimes.
