In response to CBS's announcement that Stephen Colbert's late night talk show had been canceled, Jon Stewart railed against the network and its parent company, Paramount, accusing them of prioritizing an $8 billion merger with Skydance and political appeasement over the value of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
