Human life is sacred and as such believers in Jesus should take courage to take a stand and offer hope and healing to those impacted by abortion and other life issues.

As we think about all that Luke 9 is about, I want you to please begin to think where you are at in your relationship with Jesus. I want to help you FOLLOW Jesus and so it is good to critique, pray, think, and ruminate on how we are doing in our relationship with God.

What is the condition of your heart?

God’s love proved effective by Jesus Christ and confirmed by the presence of the Holy Spirit casts out all fear that on Judgment Day we will face the consequences of our sins all by ourselves. Perfect love casts out all fear.

We never be afraid of YHWH God in this life because we have our God Who pulls back and empties Himself that He might be intimately close to us and we have our God Who leans close and is ever present with us. Grace upon grace.

Isaiah predicted Jesus’ single-minded devotion to the will of God prompting the same in us.

God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to be the Suffering Servant for us. In verse 3, we find He was constantly despised, often rejected, entered into sorrow, experienced grief, and was ignored.

In Matthew 16, we have the exact words you and I need to use when answering the question: Who is Jesus? The words that need to come out of our mouths are: “Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God.”

Jesus uses yeast as a symbol to talk about hypocrisy.

Belief in Jesus is quite reasonable for He provided proof by His death, burial, and resurrection.
