But just because we have the Holy Spirit, doesn't mean to neglect other teachers/pastors in our lives, for they are a gift from God that can help us understand what the Holy Spirit is putting on our hearts.

It isn't just those who give sermons on a Sunday morning, but all of us who follow Christ who are the ones who have been entrusted with spreading the gospel, what are we doing with it? What are we aiming for in the Christian life, to win arguments or win souls by love? The heart of a pastor is that of a mother caring for a newborn, gentle and loving.

In this message, Josh walks through 1 Thessalonians 1:6-10 and talks about how as believers, being consumed with Jesus and things that glorify Him cause us to imitate Him. What believers do you imitate? If people were to have your faith, what would that look like? In order to become a good example of what it looks like to be consumed with Jesus, you first need to imitate a good example.

In this message, Josh walks through 1 Thessalonians 1:1-5 and discusses how the gospel can change lives. The power of the Gospel is something that we as believers can sometimes forget about. As Paul writes this letter to the Thessalonians he reminds them of what what God has dome and how He has saved them. What has God saved or freed you from? What's stopping you from sharing that same hope with other people?
