In this message, Josh goes through Nehemiah 13:1-31 and discusses true change. We're presented with the question of "Will you still love God in 10 years?" The people of Jerusalem thought they would, but they allowed for little things to influence them which eventually led to them almost completely forgetting about God. What are you allowing in your life that is causing you to neglect God? Are you looking for people to change you or are you allowing God to change you?

In this message, Josh walks through Nehemiah 12:1-38 and talks about what makes worship, worship. What does it mean to worship and how does it add to our walk with God? It isn't something we do just on a Sunday, worship is what we do to glorify God. Are you worshipping God with you life? Or just on Sunday with your lips?

In this teaching, Josh goes through Nehemiah 10-11 and discusses being committed to being different. As Christians we are called to be in the world but not of it. Meaning, the way we think, speak, act, and live life should be different than the world. Every aspect of our lives should reflect the fact that Jesus has transformed us. What areas in your life does the Lord need control of? How committed are you to what the Lord has called you to?  

In this teaching, Josh goes through Nehemiah 9:1-38 and highlights the evidence that is shown in revival. The people of Israel became so focused on the fact that they were full of sin that food was no longer important to them. There was a massive humbling before the Lord. Evident characteristics of revival are  brokenness and confession. Are we allowing God to break us? Are we confessing our sins? 

In this teaching, Josh walks through Nehemiah 8:13-18 and discusses keeping the past alive. As believers, we need to always remember what God has done in the past. What He has delivered us from, the things He has done, and everything in between. If we don't, we can can become prideful and will fail to learn from our mistakes. The past that we must keep alive at all times is the life of Jesus. Are we living in a way that shows we remember what Jesus has done for us? 

In this teaching, Josh walks us through Nehemiah 8: 1-12 which highlights the beginning of revival amongst the people. The people desired God's word and to obey His commands. Are we living with that same desire? Do we have a hunger that cannot be satisfied until we are fed scripture? Nehemiah and his people did, despite their persecution and trials. What's our excuse for not longing to be in the presence of the Lord? 

In this teaching, Josh walks through Nehemiah 6: 15-7 and discusses how even after the completion of Nehemiah's task, he never took his eyes off of God. We all have things in our lives that need to be done, are we focusing on God during those tasks and are we giving Him the glory? God is looking for people who are faithful in the small things, the jobs behind the scenes that go unnoticed. No matter how long or difficult, is our gazed fixed on Jesus?  

In this teaching, Joes goes through Nehemiah 6:1-14 and navigates the question of, "what things shake you?' In other words, what things take your eyes off of Jesus? The enemy wants you to be discouraged and distracted, he wants you to be confused, to have contradicting feelings. But if we focus on the work Jesus has called us to, the work that will glorify Him, we can become immovable. 

In this teaching, Josh walks through Nehemiah 5:14-19 and highlights the temptation that Nehemiah experienced. At one point he could have everything he ever wanted but, he instead denied those temptations and chased after God. Are we denying the temptations the word offers us? Are we denying worldly comfort and pursuing the God of comfort? Are we letting sin control our lives or are we letting God direct us?

In this teaching, Josh goes through Nehemiah 5:1-13 and discusses the aspect of the family of God. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ, yet at times we don't treat each other as such. Why is that we can be nice and get along with people that aren't believers but when it comes to fellow believers, there can be so much anger. What does this say about us? Are we really living as children of God who reflect His love and obey His word?
