Pastor Bob shows us what our righteous Judge looks like. Can you imagine the love that God has for us, while understanding that He is a just ruler and cannot tolerate sin? There is such a tension in that statement, because we will inevitably fall short. But that is why He sent His only Son to be the final sacrificial Lamb for our sins. Now we can be fully in awe of His mercy and love that bridges the gap between us and righteousness, if we choose to accept it. 

John and Anna tackle the most important topic of what we believe as Christians: The Cross & Ascension. 

It is because of the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ that we can enter the throne of heaven, and live in perfect communion with The Father. It is because of that death on the cross by a spotless lamb in our place that qualifies Jesus as the worthy One, seated at the right hand of the Father. This is the foundation of our faith and we know that "whosoever believes in Him [in this truth] will not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16

What does it mean to confess Jesus Christ as Lord? As the only son of God? In this sermon, the Apostles’ Creed helps us define the basics of what we believe about Jesus and what the good news of His gospel means for us as believers.

"I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth." Pastor Bob dives into the first line of the Apostles' Creed and explores who God is.  

This is the start of our new eight-week series on the Apostles' Creed titled, What Christians Believe. Pastor Bob will journey us through the foundations of our Christian faith as we study the Apostles' Creed together.

We were actually created to desire God–so no matter who you are or what you believe, you've been created with a deep desire that can only be filled by a relationship with the one, true, living God. Because we have this good news, let us be a people that mingles in the market place, spreading this joy.
