God can give peace, forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Shalom in our lives.

There are troubled hearts because of COVID-19 and there were troubled hearts before it. And we know exactly where to turn when our hearts are troubled.

We're taking a look at when Jesus identified his betrayer.

No one was closer to the truth than Judas Iscariot. He saw every miracle. Heard every teaching. And wasted it all.

A man called by God, close to the truth, walked away from it all.

We're talking about re-entry back into the church building & culture. We'll get through it together. We'll get through it while we grow. What we need now is the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Listen more. Love more. Be a person of grace.

How do we stay small in our own eyes?

Jesus chose you.  

Before going to the cross, Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane. In this moment He knew what was about to happen. He knew He would pay the penalty of sin for all of mankind, and in that garden, He even cried out to God the Father, asking if there was another way. But it was in that moment that He chose you.

We celebrate Palm Sunday and remember that Jesus was riding into the city of Jerusalem, fully aware of what was to come later that week. He knew that this was the only way to forgiveness and redemption. He was the way to eternal life for all mankind. Though what was to come was uncertain to the city of Jerusalem, Jesus knew, and He knew that His heavenly Father was in control. He was in control then and He is in control now.

Be encouraged this week, that no matter our circumstance, our mighty God is not surprised. He is still in control.
