The key verse in chapter 4 is verse 4: "but Jesus needed to go through Samaria." This verse gives us 3 distinct lessons from Jesus' encounter with the Samaritan woman.

As we take a look at Jesus' encounter with Nicodemus, we learn that Nicodemus proves religion overpromises and under-delivers.

We take a look at the miracle mentioned in John: Mary brings her request to Jesus and didn't know what He would do. But, she knew whatever he did would be right.
