]One of the hallmarks of the early church was its incredible diversity. Cultural, social, and ethnic barriers were torn down, as the Holy Spirit united people from hugely different backgrounds. The Spirit welcomes everyone into a

family. A family where everyone is equal, an undivided community. The Spirit knits together people into one family.

How does the Holy Spirit help us in a storm? When there is a gap between what we are hoping for and what we see. Or when we see the gulf between our experience and the accounts in the book of ACTS. How can we avoid becoming negative, cynical, and even blaming ourselves “I don’t have enough faith”

You are going to help people find life in all its fullness. You are going to change the world. This is HOW. Don’t try and do this alone. Holy Spirit will fill you with boldness — willingness to take risks and act innovatively, giving confidence or courage.

It is the holy spirit who COMES and empowered the Church to do the MISSION OF KING JESUS
