Hey, I heard you missed us. We're back. The 3D's (mostly) return and ponder their top five CCM albums released while they were in high school. Get ready for some serious 1980s nostalgia.

A recurring series where one D gives the others three songs from an album that we love that the other two don't know. The other two do the same for the rest of us. Then we get together and talk about what we heard. Confused? Don't be. It's a little things we like to call "Three for the Show."

For this week's episode, the 3D's take a break from their normal 1985-95 window to ponder the state of current contemporary Christian music. Is it terrible? Is it just as good as ever? Somewhere in between? And where does one go to find the best of the best? All of these questions (and more) are on the table as the 3D's engage in a frank discussion about CCM in the 21st Century.

This week the 3D's take a deep dive into one of the finest debut albums in CCM history--the 1991 debut album by the duo known as Out of the Grey. By the way, we all think Tommy Sims is really fantastic on this album.

Our "favorite CCM albums of 1985-95" episode series launched with a bang last time as we discussed some of our "honorable mentions" -- albums that barely missed making it onto our main lists. Now it is time to dive into the albums that did make our individual lists, beginning with numbers 100 through 91. We kept our lists super private and none of us had any idea what the others had listed prior to recording. Get ready for wacky fun and crazy hijinks.
