There is the disciplinary side of a father, where he chastens or disciplines the one he loves. He sometimes puts us in uncomfortable situations to train us, that’s what a loving father does for the children he loves.

As a father, God protects his own. In this world, we are not disadvantaged because the God of the entire universe watches over us and protects us from all forms of evil. 

We learn that in anything as a Christian, you go to God as a father first. This sermon uses a case study of the prodigal son to teach four points of supernatural supply, and how God isn’t holding anything back from a child of God, all you need to do is to ask!
