Cedric Maxwell Has Same Knee Procedure as Kemba Walker to correct a nagging knee injury that spans all the way back to the infamous 1985-85 season that led to an eventual trade from the Boston Celtics to the LA Clippers. 

In winter 2020, Max finally decided to address his knee pain that stretches all the way back to the injury that effectively ended his prime in 1985. 

After seeing and hearing about the success of stem cell procedure underwent by current Celtics star Kemba Walker, the former NBA Finals MVP started his mission to research the Walker procedure more. Max was shocked to find out that

a clinic in Leominster, Massachusetts, has been providing a similar procedure to Walker with care and treatment to patients of all ages. 

After a short drive from his home to Maragal Medical in Leominster, Maxwell was introduced to Doctors Tim Gallagher, Michael Marciello and their fine staff for his first consult. 

Max knew immediately that had found the right people to start the process of a pain free life for the first time in over 3 decades. 

As Maxwell put it when asked by CLNS, “Dr. Tim and Dr. Mike treated me like family from the first day we all met.”
