I found out about Next Avenue in 2019 when I was asked to answer some questions about bicycling for older Americans who were starting or getting back to riding. Turns out one of the writers for Next Avenue, Brette Sember, was writing an article on “Why You Might Want to Consider Getting Back on a Bike for a September 25, 2019 article. This is a fairly wide ranging interview with a prep school class mate of Preston’s. John played football and Preston ran cross country so you can see that they didn’t hang out in the same spaces. John has had a life of privilege and is suitably appreciative of the opportunities that he has faced. Now at 77 he doesn’t look his age. However, he is facing medical issues and is still working to keep fit and active. He just got back home to New Jersey after a two week cruise with his wife.

Elsa is a first generation American who has a Master's degree in Physical Therapy and is working to make the lives of our elder population better. A year ago she started a business "Elderwheels" to provide "Premium assisted mobility for Seniors." This interview got pretty intense as we touched on many issues that Elsa feels strongly about. One of Elsa's biggest concerns is that many people don't recognize that other people may operate differently and have different ways of dealing with the world. If you want personal service for your necessary trip, Call or text Elsa at 512-779-8383 or email at [email protected].
