We’ve got mothers day, and fathers day, but yesterday was also something special, because the 21st April was Nonbinary Parents Day.
Parental structures don’t need to be gendered or binary, and for many, ‘nonbinary’ creates a space and language for them finally being able to describe who they are and create better understanding for their lived experience.
When parent is attached to that as well, it comes with a new playbook.
Andy shares what’s it really like being a nonbinary parent.
Andy also wrote a fantastic blog post about what the day means to them, check it out here.
