Welcome to Day 3 of our Advent journey, Celebration Church family! Today, we reflect on The Long-Awaited Visitation through the words of Zechariah in Luke 1:68–71:

"Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David, as he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets from of old, that we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us."

Zechariah’s transformation reveals his journey from doubt to faith as he declares God’s redemption as though it is already accomplished. Let’s explore the significance of God’s visitation and how it speaks to His faithfulness and timing.

Welcome to Day 2 of our Advent journey, Celebration Church family! Today, we reflect on a beautiful and powerful moment in Scripture: Mary’s song of praise, the Magnificat. In Luke 1:46–55, Mary marvels at God’s goodness and power, declaring the greatness of the Lord who exalts the humble and fills the hungry with good things.

Through Mary and Elizabeth, we see God’s incredible timing and His delight in working through those who are often overlooked. Together, let’s learn from their humility and celebrate the heart of worship that magnifies our magnificent God.

Luke 1:16–17 foretells the role of John the Baptist in preparing the way for Jesus. These verses remind us: "He will go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah…to make ready for the Lord a people prepared."

This Advent season, we are invited to prepare our hearts for the coming of our Savior. Just as John the Baptist called people to turn toward God, we are called to reflect, self-examine, and clear distractions so we can fully embrace the heart of Christmas.

Let’s create a Christ-centered excitement in our homes, immerse ourselves in Scripture, and meditate on our need for a Savior. Together, let’s turn our hearts to Jesus and prepare the way for His presence in our lives.
