“Soul Loss as a Spiritual View of Personality” describes how parts of our soul separate from it to protect us during difficult times in life. In this view, our personality is spiritual in nature and emerged from our soul. This relationship is explained through A Metaphoric Tree of Self.  So, all aspects of our personality are parts of our soul that had to separate from it, to help us navigate life when growing up, and handle challenges we face now, as adults. This spiritual view of personality is related to the shamanic concept of “Soul Loss” and how under certain conditions, parts of the soul can get lost or stuck in a specific time, place, function, emotion, or belief.  In this podcast, we focus on the following questions and topics.

“IFS Self Leadership Meditation – Meeting the Protectors” helps you notice and connect to your personality parts, specially those who are working hard to protect you from getting emotionally hurt by others, rejected, or humiliated. This IFS meditation is a guided meditation and includes a calming background music to help you become more centered and connected to Self and embody Self Energy. 

Meditations like this may not work perfectly the first time, so I’d suggest noticing the process here and repeating it later in your own pace and works.

Self, Spirit Guides, and Celestial Twin Beings are benevolent spiritual beings. They are our inner guides for discovering and knowing unconscious and hidden dimensions of our being. IFS Self Leadership Meditation helps you notice and connect to Self Energy and your personality parts. The meditation is guiding you to embody your inner most sense of being, away from all your familiar thoughts and feeling. “How to Revive Your Self Trust” provides practical ideas to help you believe in yourself again, restore your self trust and start believing in your decisions, and your way of life. Here, you also find answers to the following questions: 

- What is self trust and how it first comes about? 

- What makes us lose or not have enough self trust? 

- What can we do to revive, restore, or reaffirm our self trust?

Self trust reflects our ability to trust what we feel, think, decide, or do in life without any doubt or desire for external validation. Unfortunately, we are not born with self trust and must develop it in the course of our life. When we have a low level of self trust, all of our decisions are mixed with doubt and everything we do is being observed by our inner critics, who are aware of this doubt and view it as a sign of weakness or incompetence.

But when we trust yourself, doubt has little room in our decisions or actions. Our inner critics are relaxed and our occasional failure or mistakes in life are no longer seen as reflections of who we are, but rather as experiences that make us grow and become wiser, as they are meant to be.

"Meditating With Creator Who Imagined Me" is an experiential 15-Minute Heart Meditation with the highest spiritual figure in your life. It is designed as a monologue meditation with your divine creator. This highest spiritual figure can be unique and different for you and I. We can view it as god, as our savior, as one who imagined us, or as one in whose image we live. It can be a sacred religious figure, god, or daimon that is close and personal to us. Even for those of us, not as spiritual, this creator figure can be represented by a superconscious source or collective intelligence of the cosmos, the source beyond all that exist. 

Experience this meditation with headphones and an open heart. Embody the words that are being said as if they are coming from deep inside your own heart. Write a few lines as a journey entry, to capture what you noticed or how you felt during this meditation. You can also capture any insights you might have discovered during the experience. You can refer to these notes and insights later when you are open to deepen your awareness or understanding of them. Also consider repeating this mediation, but this time in your own pace and your unique way. Improvising this meditation in your own words helps you deepen your experience of it and discover new insights in the process.
