Sydney Greenstreet was born in 1879. The Silent Motion Picture Era is generally recognized as being between 1894 to 1929. The Jazz Singer (1927) is recognised as the first "talking" motion picture, and within only a few years "talkies" were the default. So Sydney Greenstreet, at 62, waited 14 years after Talkies kicked off before acting on film in The Maltese Falcon (1941, so FIVE years prior to the Verdict). The great silent film actor, producer and director Charlie Chaplin was the big Talkie hold out; he didn't make a talking film until The Great Dictator (1940).
It seems that my hunch was right; Peter Lorre (born László Löwenstein) is, indeed, pronounced "Peter Lorre".

This week, Thomas and Colin watch the 1972 American science fiction film, Conquest of the Planet of the Apes.
Thomas plots how to defend his honour. Colin has the gall to unreservedly apologise from the bottom of his gallbladder. He also continues to infuriatingly say "aspecially" instead of "especially"! Why!?! He KNOWS it's "Especially"! Thomas "Went there!" (Truth be told, if you listen back, so did Colin!)

Most commonly one renal artery will supply the right kidney and another separate renal artery will supply the left kidney. Accessory renal arteries are a common variant of the renal arteries. They are present in ~25% (range 20-30%) of the population and bilateral in ~10%. Triple renal arteries are seen in ~2.5% (range 1-4%) of the population. Colin has TWO arteries going to one kidney, and THREE going to the other. He's a FREAK!

Thomas has problems with his mobility! Colin likes to keep a cap on things, but for a time is disastrously unable to do so! Is that clickbait-y enough for you? Colin and Thomas bemoan the ever-rapid death of local children's television production.

Side note factoid: Production of Escape From the Planet of the Apes was rushed due to the low budget ($2 million), being filmed in only six weeks, from November 30, 1970 to January 19, 1971. The film went on to well and truly recoup its cost, making $12.3 million at the box office!

United Kingdom's version of Dr Pepper, along with various other countries, is manufactured with sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup (much like Heritage Dr Pepper in the United States).
