  • Your Brand is Your Soul

How is finding your “brand” a way of getting in touch with your inner core spirit?

I’ve been doing a lot of work on brand, branding and rebranding over the past year, mainly on myself but also with clients so this podcast is a story about that, about what happened to me.

As you know, I'm all about putting the soul back in your business - and putting the soul back in my own business too. I do walk my talk! It required a lot of looking at myself, sorting the bits of my life, my past that had brought me to this Now, to see which bits were past the sell-by date and put them in the compost. It's tough but Oh! it's just so worthwhile! join me on this mini story for more.

  • interview with Amara Willow for Pagan Pages

Check out this interview I did with Amara Willow for Pagan Pages. We had such a good time together talking about the 3D coaching I do and the Wild Woman Retreats. Looks like Amara and her Mum will be coming on the next one in March, and I've got an American woman coming too so it'll be quite international. More on the Retreats later.

Pagan Pages is an international e-magazine I've been writing for for years, great people, really diverse and inclusive, so give them a listen too when you've checked out the podcast.

Pagan Pages: Helping Give Pagans a Voice for Over a Decade

PaganPages.Org began as an idea for a newsletter in an old Yahoo group. The newsletter was distributed monthly, and contained monthly columns from our many creative writers. Over time, we decided to open the magazine up to other Yahoo groups, and then, to other Pagans on the internet. As we opened it up, we found new authors and creatives to join our team. We had our first public issue of PaganPages.Org in April 2006, and have been releasing the magazine ever since!

  • Ikebana: Bringin the soul back home

For me, putting the soul back in our businesses is so important. It's the spark that got us going in the first place ... but it often gets lost and buried (like in many relationships) as our business gets older. It needs bringing home, refurbishing, making it shine again.

This is one of the ways I do it for myself, and one of the ways I offer for clients to do it for themselves too. It's a form of japanese flower arranging ... and it really works to help us unstick ourselves too 😎

  • Don't Do - enable

Sorry I've been gone for a couple of weeks but I'm back now. I've got to start a different rhythm, so much going on new projects and clients, that I need to post once a fortnight not once a week. So you'll see me every other Friday now.

This time, it's a story from one of my advanced students ... she posted it this morning and I was so thrilled I asked her if I could use the bones of it for the podcast. Here it is ... enjoy!

  • Archetypes & Role Models

Often it can feel like archetypes are set in stone, have only the meaning in the book, or what our coach tells us it is, and that they're inbuilt traits that won't change. This isn't so. They're actually "psychological constructs" - ideas and generalisations people have thought up. They really came on stage at the end of the 19th century with people like Freud and Jung although the idea of them has been around far longer but more often in the characters of a story or play. That's how I work with them, helping people write their own character, in their own story ... discover their own meanings for archetypes. And giving themselves permission to grow their archetypes on ..

  • Trust

Trust is a big thing, huge in fact and it underlies all our relationships - business and personal. It's an issue I have. We all do. I don’t work with people I don’t feel I can trust. Most of us don’t. Often, we can’t explain the feeling but we know it, deep in our bones, it’s an instinctual, a gut thing, something we just know.

So how do we get to trust someone? I'm talking about it this week as it's something I'm working with right now ...

  • I'm guesting with Victoria Bennion! Delightful chat

I've just had a really good chat with Podcast Best Guest host, Victoria Bennion. Victoria regularly podcasts with expert business owners and authors so I was thrilled to be a guest on her show. Victoria asked me to explain something of my witchy background as well as what I do as a coach and retreat leader and to explain just what 3 Dimensional Coaching is, what it does and how it works. Enjoy 😊

And Victoria said she'd come and be a guest here on Pea Green Boat so we can hear more about her and what got her into podcasting. What this space ...

  • Fairytale: The Washer at the ford

Something different this week – a story. I grew up on thes old stories of Britain.

This is one of my own, built around the old tales of the raven goddess of death and rebirth. In some of the tales she’s also called the Washer at the Ford.

The Washer at the Ford is the raven goddess. She lives with all of us in the Celtic lands, in Britain, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Brittany.

This story comes out of the old Arthurian tales and is my thoughts on what might have happened after he rejected Gwenhwyfar when she went with his best friend. There are many stories of our heroes who don’t die but go to the Isles of the West. The stories say they will come again when their people need them. I live in the middle of another one right now – Wild Edric. Who knows, maybe they will come. The way our world is now we could surely use them!

  • Befriending your negative side

All too often we’re told – and believe – we need to release, get rid of, exorcise, some habit or trait or negative emotion. Yuck! I really don't do all that. And doing it never works long-term, it's a bit like going on a slimming diet, cutting out anything that will make you fat. Then, when you fit back in your jeans you promptly head back for a latte with a Danish pastry, cupcake, jam tart, or whatever and put all the weight back on! Befriending, on the other hand, brings you to a whole new, creative and productive relationship with your Dark Side!

  • Batshit Moments

🦇 💩 This podcast is dedicated to fellow coach and author, Taz Thornton, who (all unknowingly … perhaps?!) has enabled this change, this threshold moment, in me. Ta very muchley, Taz – said in a growl – I really needed this, even if I don’t want it! So I love you dearly even if I want to bite your nuts off! Change is a crazy, gorgeous, terrifying, wonderful thing, and so often we each need to be pushed off the cliff because we just ain’t never gonna jump of our own accord. Taz is a wonderful person who can do just that, and from a super-loving heart! 🦇 💩
