The NBA Regular Season has officially come to an end and the Celtics ended up in 2nd place! It's hard to believe that this team was under .500 at some point in January and are now sitting in the 2 seed. The Celtics came out and faced a Grizzlies team that sat all of their starters and we absolutely destroyed them 139-110. This was a fun game to watch some of our bench guys in the 4th quarter. We saw really solid minutes from Malik Fitts, Pritchard and Kornet off the bench tonight. With that being said, now that playoffs are set to begin, I would not be shocked if Ime went back to his normal 8-9 man rotation consisting of Tatum, JB, Smart, Theis and Horford as your starters and then Grant, White and Pritchard off the bench while Timelord is out. When Timelord comes back, I still expect to see some Theis minutes.
The Celtics will face the winner of the Cavaliers and Nets game on Tuesday night at 7:00 PM EST. I've said it before and I will say it again, any team in the NBA can beat any team on any given night so you can't completely count the Cavs out but my money would be on us facing the Nets in round 1.
