The Celtics lose once again to the Orlando Magic 95-92. There was no Tatum in this one but that doesn't even remotely count as an excuse against this Magic team. We can call it like it is, this was an absolutely hideous game from the Celtics offensively. Defensively, I think they played fine. If you hold a team to 95 points in todays NBA, that should result in a W every night but our offense did not show up. As a team we shot 34% from the field and 25% from 3 and we also turned the ball over 17 times. That right there is the ballgame. Despite how poorly we played on the offensive end, we still had a chance to win this game. We were down 93-92 with 10 seconds left and Grant threw a horrible inbounds pass that resulted in another turnover and iced the game for the Magic.

There isn't much else to talk about in this game. The Celtics have now lost 4 of their last 5 games and do not look anything remotely close to the Celtics we saw that started this season. With that being said, it is better to have a slump at this point in the season and not later on. This team is too damn talented, regardless of what most people are saying, and they will figure it out. The Celtics have 2 days off before their Wednesday night game against the Pacers so hopefully they get their mind right, get some rest and come out ready to play.
