The Celtics came into this game as 17pt favorites over the Pistons who lost 27 straight games coming into this game and squeaked out a 128-122 win in OT. Porzingis was an absolute game changer in this one with 35pts taking advantage of every mismatch and getting big bucket after big bucket. Despite a bad first half for White, he turned it around and put together an excellent game as well.

This was a horrible shooting night for Tatum BUT he did a lot of everything in this one. He still ended up with 31pts along with 7reb 10ast and 5stl. Defensively he was great but his major impact came from facilitating. This was a game that was far too close for comfort especially considering the competition BUT the Celtics were able to find a way to win and improve to 15-0 at home and 24-6 on the season. We do play Toronto tomorrow night at home which is going to be an absolute grind on the second night of a back to back that went to OT.
