The Celtics fall to the Suns 106-94. This was a brutal game to watch for Celtics fans because it was the polar opposite of the Nets game. Shots weren't falling for anybody and the defense was abysmal. The Celtics shot a whopping 38% from the field and 26% from 3 which is one of the worst offensive performances of the year. On top of that, the Celtics also reverted back to a lot of iso ball in this one. Jayson Tatum shot 3-15 from the field and 3-10 from 3 so only 5 of his 15 shots were within the 3pt line and he missed every single one of them. This was truly a game of "die by the 3" and it was not pretty to watch. The Celtics still stand with a 1.5 game lead in the Eastern Conference but the standings are getting tighter as the All Star Break approaches.
