The Celtics beat the Clippers 116-110 in another impressive performance from the Jays. While the Jays contributed 29pts each, it was the play of Marcus Smart that pushed this team over the edge. From his incredible defense including a steal and finish at the rim in transition to go up 112-102 during a big Clippers run, Smart controlled the pace and play of this game. This wasn't a game where the ball was moving as fluidly as Celtics fans would like as we only tallied 22ast but Marcus Smart did everything he could to help with that as he contributed 9 of those 22ast. Overall, this is a really good win over a very good Clippers team but it was far from perfect.

The Celtics shooting struggles continued in this one as they only shot 28% from 3 and only 77% from the FT line. These are two of the areas the Celtics have excelled at and Celtics fans can look at this in two way. They can either be pissed that the Celtics struggled happened or be impressed that they battled through the adversity and still came out with a big win extending their win streak to 4 games. As for me, I am a glass half full kind of guy and loved that they fought through their struggles and won and extended their lead in the Eastern Conference to 2.5 games over the Brooklyn Nets (yes the Nets are in 2nd).
