The Celtics fall to the Rockets 111-109 in another embarrassing game. JB came out and was simply unstoppable in this game. He scored 43pts on 16-25 (64%) from the field and 4-10 (40%) from 3 and, as good as he was all game, went off for 17pts in the third quarter. Jayson Tatum on the other hand was absolutely brutal in this game. He had 22pts and 4TOs on 8-22 (36%) from the field and 2-10 (20%) from 3. After a horrible first half, Tatum comes out and puts up 11pts on 5-7 from the field with both of his misses coming from 3. He was aggressive getting downhill and it looked like it may have been a tipping point. It was not. The 4th quarter came and he went into his shell missing all 3 of his shot attempts including the potential game tying basket at the buzzer.

Outside of JB, Malcolm Brogdon really did play excellent in this one with 20pts along with a couple of huge plays on both sides of the ball down the stretch. Besides JB and Brogdon, nobody put together a good performance. In fact, if you take their numbers out of the 3pt shooting (7-15 combined for 46%) the Celtics shot 20% from beyond the arc. They only had 19ast on 39 makes which is also a huge issue with tonight's game. The Celtics truly got outplayed in this one. We were outrebounded by 10, gave up 15oreb and allowed 22pts off our 14TOs. This was truly a bad showing and as the postseason nears, one would hope the Celtics would start playing their best basketball of the season but they seem to be moving backwards.
