The Celtics beat the Raptors 97-93 and officially lock up the 2 seed with 2 games remaining in the regular season. We played this one with Tatum, Smart and Horford and saw a starting lineup with Hauser and Muscala in it and still pulled off the victory. The White & Brogdon tandem was at it again in this one. Brogdon led the way with 29pts alongside 5reb and 3ast and hit 2 clutch FTs to ice the game tonight but was hitting big bucket after big bucket. White was also really impressive despite a tough shooting night but he added in 17pts 4reb 2ast 2stl and a block. Both of these guys continue to step up in big spots and is going to make a huge difference in this playoff run we are about to watch. With Tatum out tonight, I was expecting JB to really step up and have a big game and while the shooting splits might not look impressive, I think he still played within the rhythm of the game and wasn't reverting to iso ball at all in this one. He was still super aggressive getting to the rim and getting to his mid range spot.

I think we saw some really good minutes from Muscala as well in this. Him and Brogdon were really the only 2 players on the team that shot the 3 well. Muscala ended the night with 12pts 6reb and was 3-5 from 3 and had a pretty solid game on both sides of the ball. Hauser shot horribly in this one (1-8 from 3) but still managed to lead the team with a +11 and funny enough, it was because of his playmaking and defense. He ended the night with 4ast 2stl and a block. The Celtics really struggled to shoot in this one. they shot 42% from the field and just 29% from 3 and still managed to pull this one off. It wasn't a perfect game but it was a win that locked up the 2 seed for us. With 2 games left in the regular season, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a very lengthy injury report next game and then watch the Celtics come back full strength during our last game but play limited minutes since these games don't matter.
