The Celtics beat the Knicks in their 4th preseason game . After nearly an entire week off, the Celtics played what felt like their normal starting lineup and rotations through most of this game. They did opt for the 2 guard lineup with Derrick White and Jrue Holiday sending Horford to the bench. Al Horford was the first guy off the bench and we saw Joe stick to an 8 man rotation most of the night with Pritchard and Hauser earning most of those minutes. This game was something special to watch. Every single person in the Celtics top 8 can stretch the floor so the spacing was incredible all night long which led to a preseason record 23 made 3-pointers. Tatum looked like he was in midseason form with 28pts 8reb and 4ast on 5-8 from 3 and his running mate JB was solid for most of it as well. He did have some turnovers but he also led the team in assists with 6. The JB Porzingis pick and roll game was elite tonight and something I am looking forward to this season.

Porzingis may have been the most impressive in this game though adding 20pts and 8reb. I already talked about how impressive his pick and roll offense was in this one with JB but the pick and roll defense was also incredible. One thing that bummed me out about today's game was the fact that we didn't see any Svi or Queta minutes. I'm not surprised at all that we didn't see Gabriel who has been bad this preseason but Queta has shown signs of being serviceable and Svi has looked great. In a game where most of our regulars were out there, it would've been nice to see how/if guys like Svi or Queta would fit into a role. With that said, this was a fun game to watch on the offensive and defensive side of the ball.
