Al Horford led the Celtics with 21 points in his return following a 2 game absence while he was in concussion protocol. Clutch play from Jayson Tatum and Terry Rozier in the fourth quarter, along with a gritty defensive effort from the entire team, led the C's to their 12th consecutive victory over the Raptors by a score of 95-94 Sunday afternoon. 

Al Horford will return from a brief absence in concussion protocol to play against the Toronto Raptors Sunday. Kyrie Irving suffered a minor facial fracture and will miss the game, but he did not sustain a concussion and will return after being fitted for a mask.

Kyrie Irving has been diagnosed with a minor facial fracture and is unlikely to play on Sunday versus the Toronto Raptors. He is expected to be fitted for a mask and wear for two weeks while recovering from the injury. The injury is not expected to keep him from playing with the possible exception of Sunday's game.

Al Horford's status has been upgraded to "Probable" and is expected to play Sunday after experiencing concussion symptoms earlier in the week that caused him to miss the past two games.

A hurting and undermanned Celtics team came back from a once 18 point deficit to secure their league best 11th straight win with a (90-87) victory on Friday night. Without Gordon Hayward, Al Horford, and now Kyrie Irving, the Celtics prove once more that defense and a deep rotation win out in this league.

Already playing without Al Horford, the Celtics lost star rookie Jayson Tatum early in the first half due to right ankle soreness. Aron Baynes led the team with 21 points and 8 rebounds, and Kyrie Irving continued to show off his unbelievable handles with another highlight reel dress down of the entire Lakers defense late in the first quarter. Marcus Smart's vicious rejection of a Lonzo Ball floater at the end of the first half summed up the Lakers efforts tonight, as the C's extend their win streak to 10 games in the 107-96 victory.
