Last night’s 114-91 walloping at home against the Eastern Conference favorite Cleveland Cavaliers was a wakeup call – a bucket of cold water in the face – to a Boston Celtics team that had been fancying themselves as the top dog in the conference.

The Celtics fell a game behind the Cavaliers for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference after a complete beat-down at TD Garden Wednesday night. Cleveland grabs the tie-breaker as well with a 3-1 series win.

The Celtics will have Jae Crowder active Wednesday night, despite an elbow injury while visiting Cleveland will be missing Tristan Thompson. Boston recalled Jordan Mickey from the D-League, while the Cavaliers brought up Larry Sanders.

Demetrius Jackson ties his career-high with 30 points, and the Maine Red Claws make history with their first playoff win in franchise history, 110-106 in overtime on the road against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
