The Celtics may have been feeling the after effects of playing a physically and mentally demanding game 24 hours prior North of the Border, as the team committed 10 first half turnovers, a ghastly number for a Celtics team fifth overall in the NBA with an average of 12.6 turnovers committed per game.

Down 55-59 at halftime and 83-85 by the end of the third quarter, Isaiah Thomas realized the fourth quarter was upon us. The NBA’s second-leading scorer in the fourth quarter coming into tonight – behind Russell Westbrook – Thomas galvanized the Celtics, scoring a remarkable 20 points in the final frame.
