The Boston Celtics topped the Brooklyn Nets to improve to 5-1 in the preseason with one game to go. Head Coach Brad Stevens and a bunch of players were voted highly in the NBA's annual GM survey. The D-League Maine Red Claws announced that Scott Morrison will return as head coach.

Five players on the Celtics scored in double digits against the Nets. Thomas lead the team in scoring with 19 points going 6 for 6 from the field. 

After defeating the New York Knicks Saturday, Boston returns home for the first time this preseason to take on the Brooklyn Nets at TD Garden. Kelly Olynyk has still not been cleared to take contact at practice. Boston has 16 guaranteed contracts, but only 15 roster spots at the start of the regular season.

The Celtics defeat the Nets with the starters getting limited playing time. Terry Rozier and Jaylen Brown are impressive in victory over the Nets. 

After his 19th and final season, The Truth will sign with the Celtics so he can retire wit the team that drafted him. Pierce says he owes it to himself and fans to retire with the Celtics.

Various Celtics opened up to the media at Practice Tuesday, with many talking the new-look starting lineup. Boston's D-League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws, will pick 20th overall in the upcoming draft. Celtics Hall-of-Famer Kevin McHale will be an analyst for TNT this season.
