The Celtics rolled the Bulls 117-94 in another impressive win. They ended the night with 29 assists and shot 17-37 (45.9%) from 3 and were very impressive on that end of the ball. This was also a night where the Celtics defensive identity came back. The Celtics tallied 11 steals, 6 blocks and 18 points of turnovers which is great to see. Horford was the star of the game in my eyes. He ended the day with his 15th double double of the season tallying 17pts 10reb on a super efficient 7-7 from the field and 3-3 from 3. Daniel Theis also stepped up in a major way with 15pts and 6reb and really showed his pick and pop game. JB tallied his 10th straight game of 25+ points as well.
Overall we got great contributions from everyone and the best part about it is that JB was the only starter that played more than 30 minutes. That should bode well for the Celtics who face off against the Bucks tomorrow night. I would still expect Al to sit tomorrow just because of how much his workload has increased in Timelord's absence. Tomorrow's game against the Bucks has a lot of playoff implications as they are just .5 GB us in the Eastern Conference so the winner of that game will likely grab that 2 seed.
