The Celtics rolled the Hawks 134-125 in a game where the Celtics played as well as you could ask offensively but just as bad defensively. We saw Tatum put together a solid overall performance with 34pts 15reb and 6ast but the shot selection left a little to be desired. He ended the night 5-14 from 3 which I think is far too many 3pt attempts from 1 person. Outside of the shot selection, he had a really solid game. JB was spectacular in this one scoring 24pts alongside 5reb and a team high (tied with White) 7ast. This was one of the best games we have seen from him as far as rim reads goes. He was super aggressive tonight cutting constantly, creating easy baskets and finding guys for wide open shots after his drives. He didn't shoot well from 3 (1-5) but didn't seek that shot very much.

Outside of the Jays, White and Brogdon both chipped in 18pts and kept the ball flying around all night. We also saw Sam Hauser hit 4-5 from beyond the arc and Blake Griffin contribute 8pts 5reb 1ast 1stl 1blk in his 15 minutes and provide a huge spark off the bench. Horford, while the stat line might not show it, played really well tonight too. He hit a huge 3 down the stretch countering a Hawks run and then had a huge block on Johnson that led to a Brogdon transition layup to go up 8 so a huge 4pt swing late in the game. Overall, the Celtics played really well offensively, shooting 47% from 3 and collecting 35ast on 52fgm. This wasn't a game where they were chucking up 3s. They were creating 3s and that is when they are at their best. Their interior defense was a mess tonight which led to 72pts in the paint for the Hawks as well as 13oreb so there are still quite a few things to clean up but good overall win for the Celtics!
