Conflict is something most of us would prefer to avoid, but it’s inevitable in this life. However, there are ways to deal with conflict in a healthy way and it can even be an occasion for significant personal growth if we’ll approach it humbly.

An array of voices today encourage a churchless Christianity. Even in the first century some believers were beginning to neglect the meeting together of the church. Our attitude toward one another and the church should not be one of disregard or neglect but rather devotion.

Because our God is Triune, Christians should be the most relational of all people. We need one another and can have an incredible impact on each other, as the many “one another” passages of the New Testament illustrate. We weren’t created to be alone. Christians are brothers and sisters in the same family and when there is unity among the family it is both refreshing and attractive. Our desire for depth of relationship is the result of our creation in the image of God. It’s intrinsic to our nature, but making such unity a reality takes effort!
