You see mankind has a righteousness problem. We have NO righteousness of our own to offer. To stand we must

stand on and in and armed with HIS righteousness.

We must fasten to ourselves the belt of truth. We must physically, forcefully strap truth to ourselves. This means we must both KNOW and apply the truth. We can figure out what truth verse 14 is pointing to here by asking the question, “What truth does Satan most want to undermine in your life?” The truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We are not spectators, invited to grab our popcorn and watch Jesus and Satan duke it

out. Rather, we FIGHT Satan and we FIGHT with the strength and tools HE provides. And this fight,

this war is NOT something we are free to forget, disregard or ignore. Be strengthened in Christ AND stand your ground.

This is the 4th and final installment of the Core Studies class clarifying Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and its implications on our spiritual life.

So we begin with the knowledge that God is Holy, he is perfect, God is a righteous judge. Mankind is sinful, and deserving of judgment. But this holy God reconciles sinners to himself. How can this be?
