The first few verses of John 12 remind us that Jesus is worthy of all we have - and Mary is a picture of this for us.

As we close chapter 11 in the Gospel of John, Jesus's glory is maximized and our need for Him is realized, through the raising of Lazarus from the dead. Others, however - after such a display of His power and authority - begin to plot his execution.
