In His own words, Jesus reveals WHY He came to the earth and died by comparing Himself to a seed that was alone. We know that God doesn’t want to remain alone, for He made mankind for an intimate relationship (worship) with Himself.

Second Corinthians 4:5-10 speaks of how grace is embedded in the heart of the believer by God: “For God… is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.” That God has shone in our hearts is an exponential work to spread the Light (Christ) to the world. Verse 7 tells us that this is a “treasure” that we all have.

Last week Pastor Joseph redefined “Grace” as God influencing souls, turning them to Christ and kindling them to exercise the Christian virtues. In short, we learned that grace is God’s supernatural power operating in and through the believer. This week we will explore the purpose of Xponential Grace operating in and through us, and how we are to spread it.

John 1:14 says, “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.” “Truth” refers to justice, righteousness and that which is in complete alignment with the will of the Father and the realities of the spiritual realm. Our focus in this teaching will be to better understand grace in the life of Christ and ourselves as exponents.

As exponents (disciples) of Christ, we exist to duplicate and multiply the life and character of Christ to the world around us. Peace and wisdom are characteristics of Christ that our world desperately needs to see increase exponentially and as we will learn today, are intrinsically connected.

God wants it and the world needs it? What is it? The gospel, and the

exponential spreading of the transforming and eternal power of faith in Jesus Christ. Faith in Christ is all the world needs both now and forever. We’ve learned of the need for the church to raise up as exponents of peace. In this teaching we’ll explore our capacity to be exponents of wisdom.

Based on the words Jesus spoke of Himself, we know that He was an exponent of God the Father (Jn. 5:19, 8:29, 14:10). We also know that as born-again disciples of Christ, we are called to be His exponents. In accordance with the definition.But there will be no exponential growth without willing and active exponents (Mt. 24:14).

We’ve learned that an EXPONENT is more than a mathematical symbol. It’s also a person who believes in and promotes the truth; a gospeler, a disciple. The work of the Kingdom of God cannot go EXPONENTIAL without active EXPONENTS. Our objective in today’s teaching is to examine the words of Christ that give clear indication of our exponential potential and begin to understand how to apply it.

In Acts 1:8 Jesus says, “but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and even to the remotest part of the earth.” This plan for His church reveals the eXponential nature of nature of what the work of the Body of Christ should look like. **EXPONENTIAL** means **to increase and become more rapid**. For more than 2,000 years, the Gospel has been shared with multitudes, but there still remains work to be done and souls to be discipled in fulfillment of the Great Commission (Mt. 28:19).
