Beyond flavoring, salt has various uses. There are multiple uses for lighting in our daily lives. The Sermon on the Mount provides foundational truths taught by Jesus Christ as to how we as believers

are to live their lives and intentionally impacting the lives of others: how to BE what the world (those who live in tastelessness and in darkness) needs, and how we are to be dispensed and dispersed.
