Center Point Assembly

Pastor Mike continues the discussion that began by declaring the Holiness of God, being set apart from all of His creation, and how He created man as Holy. Yet in a single act of disobedience, man gave up his Holy character and became enslaved to sin and to a new master, Satan. But God had a plan, thru Jesus so that once more by a single act of obedience, man can be Justified Holy to live a set apart Holy life once again. And that's why we talk about the process of Sanctification, both instant and progressive...

Special Guest Pastor Ken Shelton gives an encouraging word to us in that we are seated at the right of the Father with Jesus. No matter how difficult life becomes, we're assigned a seat alongside Jesus our advocate and our provider. He is our source and our strength and He becomes all that we need so that we can enjoy life in the midst of it all. Listen in you will be blessed...

Pastor Mike continues the discussion of how a Holy God, set a part through His perfection and His justice, provides a path of justification for a sinful man. Mankind, though originally created perfect and Holy as in the image of God, freely gave legal ownership of himself to Satan as a result of sinning against God and thus cut himself off from communing with a Holy God. However, the story was not over, Jesus, the 2nd Adam, paid the price for mankind and provided a path of justification for all men. Every person has opportunity to be legally adopted back into the Family Of God if they choose to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Just as choice was a key factor 6000 years ago, it's just as important today... What's your choice today, God or Satan?

Pastor Mike is beginning a series discussing the only way a sinful man can have a relationship with a Holy God. This week we establish the absolute unequaled Holiness of God. He is so far above all that He created that there is no possible way we can begin to compare anything to Him. But yet, His love matches His Holiness for mankind that God, through the perfect life, painful death and resurrection power of Jesus provides a way for our relationship to be complete now and forever and ever. What a great God we serve, He is Holy above all things...

Pastor Mike discusses a mystery of how a perfect God chooses to use imperfect people to accomplish a perfect plan. Doesn't sound feasible albeit for the GRACE of God. God has a plan per Jeremiah 29:11 and his plan is for our welfare even with our imperfections. This is a promise for those that fear him. It's a promise that God will not back away from. God uses our imperfections to accomplish His plan...
