  • Identity that Shares in Suffering, Shares in Glory - Audio
Sunday, April 14, 2024 - We are currently discussing our Identity in Christ and how it affects our lives both temporarily and eternally. Our text is Romans 8:18-25. The title of today's message is "Identity that Shares in Suffering, Shares in Glory." Although nobody likes to talk about suffering, the Bible is clear that those who identify with Christ will go through periods of suffering. Just as every action has consequences, living a life devoted to Christ will naturally result in suffering. The purpose of today's message is to explain why this is so. This message is meant to encourage us, particularly during these trying times. We must rely on the Bible's teachings about suffering rather than our emotions. We invite you to worship and study with us.

  • Living in Our New Identity - PDF
Today's message on Sunday, April 7, 2024, continues last week's theme of the power of knowing and living in one's Identity in Christ. Our message is titled "Living in Our New Identity." We will explore the text of Romans 8:1-17, which serves as a "road map" for understanding our new Identity. When we accept Jesus as our savior, we are freed from the condemnation of the enemy. We become part of the family of God, with all authority and responsibility given to God as our New Heavenly Father. We are no longer just a loved "creation," but a cherished "son or daughter" with the same rights as our co-heir Jesus, as taught in Romans 8. Join us in worship and study as we celebrate our freedom and live in our New Identity in Christ. Let us embrace this life-changing message and experience the fullness of God's love, mercy, and grace.

  • The Identity Easter Brings - PDF
Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024 – Welcome to our Easter service titled “The Identity Easter Brings.” Our world is undergoing an Identity Crisis. It’s obvious when we look around and see how mixed up and upside down our society is. Right is wrong, and wrong is right. Yet, we see Jesus being confident and unwavering in His Identity. He never questioned who He was or His purpose while He walked this earth or later in His death and resurrection. Because Jesus “knew” His Identity, we can have our “new” Identity. That’s the power of Easter’s Identity. Easter completed the plan that God had put in place from the beginning of time to conquer sin and death and give mankind their new Identity in Jesus Christ, His Son. It’s an amazing message of redemption and hope for us today. Worship and study with us as we live in the Identity Easter Brings.

  • The Eternal Perspective - Audio
Palm Sunday, March 24, 2024, Pastor Ryp will deliver a message titled "The Eternal Perspective." The message will focus on Jesus's eternal perspective during His ministry on earth. It will remind us that every action we take has an eternal element, whether we are aware of it or not. Peter, James, and John experienced God's radiance through Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration, transforming them. Similarly, when we experience the touch of the Holy Spirit in our lives, it can change us, too. Pastor Ryp encourages us to desire more of God's eternal perspective and glory daily. He reminds us that we should desire to experience the eternal radiance in us as vessels of clay, and we need to be refilled on a regular basis. Coming to a Spirit-filled church is a blessing, as it allows us to invite the power of the Holy Spirit to fill us with the eternal perspective that only He can provide. Come worship and study with us.

  • Philippians - Enemy or Friend of the Cross - PDF
Sunday, March 17, 2024 – Today's message continues our study in Philippians 3 titled, "Enemy or Friend of the Cross." Paul speaks with authority and great compassion, bringing him to tears. He addresses the church in Philippi in the area that defines them as either an "Enemy of the Cross" of Jesus Christ or a "Friend of the Cross." So, to begin this discussion, the question must be raised to ourselves: are we an enemy or a friend? I would venture to say that almost everyone would claim to be a friend. But the challenge is given: by what standards do you define that friendship? Is it by God's standards or a man-made standard? That's the purpose of this message. Paul gives us the definitions of both camps, enemy or friend. As we define God's standard, it is this pastor's prayer that we listen intently and hold ourselves accountable to what it means to be a true "Friend of the Cross" and surrender to that. This means that we repent, change, and commit to following the path laid out by God's Word so that we truly become citizens of Heaven, looking forward to the eternal glory ahead. Worship and study with us.
