Center Point Assembly

Sunday, July 31, 2022 – Today, we are studying Revelation 19, which is the climax of the book of Revelation in that Heaven is now celebrating the ultimate victory over sin and the evil system of this world. The worship word – Hallelujah – is used only 4 times in the New Testament, all in the first 6 verses of Revelation 19. This is known as the “The Hallelujah Chorus of the NT” and as we study, you will see why with good reason it is. Many associate Revelation as only a book of the apocalypse and one of God’s Wrath. Of course, God’s wrath on sin is justified; even so, the book of Revelation reveals so much more as we discover today. It is the revelation of Jesus Christ’s love and His worthiness of great praise and worship. Worship and study along with us as we celebrate with the throngs in Heaven prophetically. Even though this is a future event, we can begin today to shout Hallelujah – Praise the Lord for our salvation and the soon return of Jesus, our redeemer…

Sunday, July 10, 2022 – Today’s message is titled “The Judgments of the Tribulation”. Before I go any further, let me quote what God does for those that read and study the book of Revelation.

Revelation 1:3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it because the time is near.

If you have been following us, you know that we have been speaking about the “end times” over the past few weeks. The main theme may appear to be God’s judgment and wrath, but if we really understand what this revelation is, it’s about redemption. God is doing everything He can to convince mankind they need to repent and come into a loving relationship with Him. And the only way to get there is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. This is important for us to know as we study today the 3 sets of Seven Judgments that are detailed in this book. There are 7 Seal Judgments, 7 Trumpet Judgments, and 7 Bowl Judgments. These are given in chronological order and increase in intensity as they are poured out. This is a longer than normal message because we are unfolding the story in one setting so that we can try our best to grasp the heart of God in these horrific judgments. Worship and study along with us as we do a deep dive into this fascinating book…

Sunday, July 3, 2022 – We have been speaking about the "End Times" over the past number of weeks, preparing us for what God has in store. Today’s message is talking about the “Purpose of the Tribulation”. We must understand the nature of God is justice always with the intention of redemption. God’s purpose for mankind is to restore a relationship with the fallen nature of men, as provided through the salvation of Jesus' sacrificial death and resurrection. The 7-year tribulation period between the Rapture (the taking away of the Church) and the 2nd Coming of Christ has multiple purposes. Yes, this will be when God pours out His wrath on the ungodly and unrepentant people inspired by Satan and his demonic followers for the purpose of removing evil and sin from the world. At the same, God is using this time of judgment and great trouble in the world to continue to provide a way of redemption for all those that would still receive Jesus as their savior and Messiah. Today, it behooves us to receive God’s mercy and grace now, while the Church is still being prepared as the “Bride of Christ” rather than to be a “Tribulation Saint” that would more than likely be martyred for their faith then. Worship and study the word with us. Be blessed…

Sunday, June 26, 2022 – The message today is titled, “The Spirit of the Antichrist”. We are living in very unsettling times and there is much confusion and deception in the world at large, and can I also say, in the church? What is causing this? The Bible says the spirit of the antichrist is already at work. What does this really mean and look like? Why is it important that we talk about this evil spirit and understand it? Because it’s only as we are aware of the enemy and his plan can we be protected from potentially falling prey to it? It’s the power of the Holy Spirit within us that is protecting us from this evil. It is this same Holy Spirit that is restraining the “lawlessness” from being unleashed fully upon the world. As we draw closer to the end times, of which we are living, this spirit of the antichrist, must increase until such time the restrainer (the Holy Spirit) is taken out of the way, and then the “Man of Lawlessness” or the Antichrist will be revealed. This occurs after the rapture of the Church, (the Bride of Christ) is taken out of this world and then the “Great Day of the Lord” will commence for a 7-year period called the Tribulation, where the Antichrist will be revealed and worship as god. There is much to discuss and understand, and today we are beginning to understand what the “spirit of the antichrist” is. Worship and study with us…
