  • Spirit of the Antichrist - Audio
Sunday, June 26, 2022 – The message today is titled, “The Spirit of the Antichrist”. We are living in very unsettling times and there is much confusion and deception in the world at large, and can I also say, in the church? What is causing this? The Bible says the spirit of the antichrist is already at work. What does this really mean and look like? Why is it important that we talk about this evil spirit and understand it? Because it’s only as we are aware of the enemy and his plan can we be protected from potentially falling prey to it? It’s the power of the Holy Spirit within us that is protecting us from this evil. It is this same Holy Spirit that is restraining the “lawlessness” from being unleashed fully upon the world. As we draw closer to the end times, of which we are living, this spirit of the antichrist, must increase until such time the restrainer (the Holy Spirit) is taken out of the way, and then the “Man of Lawlessness” or the Antichrist will be revealed. This occurs after the rapture of the Church, (the Bride of Christ) is taken out of this world and then the “Great Day of the Lord” will commence for a 7-year period called the Tribulation, where the Antichrist will be revealed and worship as god. There is much to discuss and understand, and today we are beginning to understand what the “spirit of the antichrist” is. Worship and study with us…

  • The Rapture & The Second Coming - PDF
Sunday, June 12, 2022 – Today’s message is titled “The Rapture &The 2nd Coming”. It’s obvious by the title what we’re going to be talking about today. I believe it’s very important that we have a hunger and desire for the return of Jesus and not a fear of it. We often avoid topics that are difficult to deal with and possibly understand. For that reason, I feel it’s important to talk about the Rapture and the 2nd Coming and understand what they are and what their purposes are. They are two separate and distinct events that make up the overall “Big Picture” of the return of Jesus. Jesus tells us in scripture that He was going away to prepare a home for us in Heaven and that He was going to come again and take us to be with Him where He is. But what does that look like and when and how will all that happen? These are good questions and as we study God’s Word, we will answer them, but it takes proper discernment and careful study. The timing of the Rapture can be a controversial discussion so we can potentially hold different timing scenarios., yet the important point that we must agree on is that Jesus is coming back to take His Church away and the tribulation is also in the future that will be culminated by the 2nd Coming of Jesus to establish His 1000 year reign. So let’s agree to focus on our relationship with Jesus and be ready for His return and not argue about what isn’t clearly obvious if we don’t hold the same belief on the timing of the Rapture. Are you ready for it no matter when it happens? That’s the question, because, we don’t know how many more heartbeats we have nonetheless. Listen and worship with us, and let’s study together…

  • Take Up Your Cross - PDF
Sunday, June 6, 2022 – Today we are discussing one of those hard topics that Jesus teaches – He says that we are to “Take up your cross and follow me”. I’ll be honest with you, I struggled this week in the preparation of this message, yet I believe that the Holy Spirit brought clarity to my thinking. The concept of “taking up my cross” is a very personal command from Jesus, yet it’s really not about me at all, it’s all about Jesus and the redemption that He provides on the cross that He took up. In the day Jesus was speaking, the cross was not what we consider it to be today. We consider the cross a religious emblem, but in Jesus' time, it was an emblem of death for those that deserved to be punished. The cross that Jesus willingly hung on and died on was not about punishment, but totally and wholly about redemption. So when Jesus says that we are to take up our cross, understand that it's not about punishment for us any more than it was for Him. Rather, it’s how we can share in the redemption process of our life along with Jesus. The enemy used the cross to bring death, God used the cross the bring life, eternally. Worship along with us and let’s celebrate the way we can have abundant life as learn how we can take up our cross and follow Jesus…

  • Get Behind Me, Satan - PDF
Sunday, May 29, 2022 - The title of today’s message is “Get Behind Me, Satan”. This is one of those potentially confusing things Jesus says that we need to understand because most of the time it’s the difficult things that Jesus says that have the most meaning in our life. After we read the context of this passage it becomes clear why Jesus takes this direct approach to deal with temptation. Get behind me, Satan! This is what we can take away from this. Jesus, being fully human had to deal with temptation just as we do. We find that Peter was unknowingly speaking the same words that Satan had previously spoken to Jesus in that the temptation was given to take a “short-cut”, the "easy way" out of the plans that God has for Jesus’s life, and likewise in our lives. How many times have we prayed for God to “Bless our plans, rather than pray for God’s plans?” There’s a lot we can learn from this simple yet powerful command, “Get behind me, Satan”. Please take a few minutes to worship and learn with us and then pray for God’s WILL in our lives, not our own selfish agenda to be done...
